why backup is important for accounting information system?

Backup to accounting information system is the purpose for  back up data and save the backup in a safe place outside the premises. The point is that if something happens to the system, such as fires, floods or other losses, data is safe and can be restored. A good security measure is to perform overnight backups as well as to restore backups once in a while to make sure the data is safe and usable.
